Philadelphia Floor Store (PFS) will offer complimentary training on the HID Ultraviolet Floor Cure System on Thursday, May 7 at its showroom in Conshohocken, Pa.

Bob Lesko, of HID, and Micah Petersen and Larry Smith of Basic Coatings, will provide training on the system as used in conjunction with Basic Coatings' LightForce—a site-applied ultraviolet water-based finish designed for fast turnaround, according to the company.

"Attendees will have an opportunity to test the Ultraviolet Floor Cure System and LightForce product for themselves," said Joe Glavin, co-owner and national sales manager of PFS. "This hands-on approach will give hardwood floor contractors a bird’s eye view of how quickly the finish cures."

To accommodate multiple schedules, PFS will host two training sessions. Session I is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and Session II will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
