Interior designer Francesco Catalano designed the exhibit with inspiration from North African materials and warm colors.

The event opens with a conference titled “Sustainability, Energy Transition and International Competitiveness of the Made In Italy Brand."

North American architects and designers are invited to apply for the chance to attend a 5-day, CEU-accredited trip to Italy’s culinary capital, Bologna, for CERSAIE.

First created in 2019, the program was developed by the Italian ceramics industry to strengthen its relationship with North American distributors and bring a new generation of importers and distributors to CERSAIE.

Now in its 38th year, Cersaie will be one the first major design trade shows to occur post-pandemic and will add new features.

The confidence of exhibitors and their desire to look to the future is clearly demonstrated by the fact that 80% of the total space allocated at Cersaie 2019 has already been booked seven months before the show is due to open.

Cersaie is postponing its 2020 Fair to September 2021 and launching a busy schedule of in-person and virtual events starting this Fall. 

The decision to postpone Cersaie comes after much deliberation and a careful analysis of the current global health situation.

Cersaie, the world's largest exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, is scheduled to take place as planned from September 28 to October 2, 2020.
