Hanley Wood Exhibitions announced that StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and Surfaces will be held together beginning January 2011. Both exhibitions will be held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Jan. 26-28, 2011, with conferences beginning on Jan. 25, 2011.
Gilford Flooring has been named Flexco's 2009 Distributor of the Year Award. Gilford, based in Jeffersonville, Ind. with two branches in Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio, was credited with increasing its Flexco sales while also providing "top-notch customer service."
Flooring retailer Carpet Plus has launched Re-Cork C’Ville, the only official cork recycling program in the Charlottesville, Va., area. The program urges local vineyards, restaurants and wine shops to display a custom-made box in their establishments, with the objective of collecting corks.

Robert K. Ddamulira, who previously served as technical
director of W.F. Taylor Co., Inc., has been named vice president of research
and development, the first to hold this position at the company.
Tile of Spain is looking for architects and designers to participate in its annually sponsored trip to Spain February 5-13, 2010. The trip, which coincides with the Cevisama show in Valencia, Spain, includes several days of exploring culturally and architecturally significant sites, such as the world-famous Alhambra Palace.
