People from around the world gathered at the Domotex exhibition in Hannover, Germany for the first time since COVID. Attendees got the opportunity to view a wide range of products but at the heart of this year’s show was sustainability. Approximately 150 Women of CCA gathered for an evening of networking and connection on January 8 at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. The networking organization, which includes women of all divisions and CCA corporate offices, meets monthly via Zoom for education and networking. 

The event took place on the eve of the CCA Global Partners winter convention, ConneXtion, for Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring America, Flooring Canada, and Floor Trader members. Retailers will share best practices, see new product introductions, review promotional and digital strategies and hear about the future direction of their cooperative from leadership.

The 2022 Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament celebrated its 20^th anniversary at this year’s event held at Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, Georgia. The turnout was higher than last year with 32 teams that equaled around 140 players. The event raised $130,000 for the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF), which will go to support the foundation’s efforts to help those in the flooring industry who experience hardships due to illness, disability or life-altering circumstances.

October 10, 2021, was a night to remember as the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) celebrated its 40th anniversary at a gala in the Rainbow Room at the top of the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The event raised over $250,000 to support FCIF’s mission: To get individuals who have worked in the floor covering industry back on their feet when battling catastrophic injuries, severe disabilities, or other life-altering medical crises.

Shanghai— The 21st edition of Domotex Asia Chinafloor, which ran here March 26-28, 2019, opened with registrations up 15 percent over the prior year, according to VNU Exhibitions President David Zhong.
