Shaw customer service hosted "Pet Pandemonium - Pets & Product" on the Shaw corporate campus in Dalton, Ga., and at Shaw's Customer Service Center in Cartersville, Ga. The goal of the events was to educate Shaw associates about the diverse pet-friendly product offerings across Shaw Industries, according to Amelia Tritico, manager of design and innovation, Anderson Tuftex. Products were featured from COREtec, SMARTCORE, Anderson Tuftex, Shaw Grass and Shaw Floors' carpet featuring Lifeguard Spill-proof Backing.

In Dalton, the event featured adoptable pets from the Murray County Animal Shelter (MCAS). Murray County Animal Shelter is a No Kill shelter that operates under the guidelines of the Georgia Department of Agriculture to house and find forever homes for the animals they rescue. MCAS brought adoptable dogs and even a fawn to the event along with information about volunteering.

Two product sessions were available for Shaw associates where they could learn about Anderson Tuftex's Unleashed Collection from Bonnie Roberts, Anderson Tuftex senior product consultant, and learn more about Shaw's refreshed Anso Colorwall, Color That Speaks to You, with Mary Lamb, Shaw senior product consultant. Morgan Obey, digital engagement manager at Shaw, broadcast the sessions live and followed them up with a Q&A session for an interactive experience.

Additionally, since June is National Safety month, Shaw Customer Service Committees: Wellness, Ergonomics and Safety shared information for "You & Your Pet" that included stretching before walks, feeding, microchipping, healthy treats for pets and people, and other information useful for Shaw associates and their pets.

Shaw sales and marketing managers, Candace Hall and Jen Muse, were both onsite to share the features and benefits of Shaw Grass for pets. COREtec was on display with a USFloors customer specialist available to answer questions and give out COREtec coasters and dog collars. SMARTCORE coordinators from Shaw's Consumer Concierge were onsite to share product information about home center products.

The adoptable dogs were welcomed with a walk on red Patcraft carpet tile. Associates enjoyed coming outside to play, hold and even sit on the grass with the dogs under the tent while listening to music.
