Mohawk's consumer website atwww.mohawk-flooring.comhas adopted a fairytale theme and now includes appearances from Cinderella, Goldilocks and the Evil Queen from Snow White. Tying in with the flooring maker's "What If?" fairytale-themed national ad campaign, the site includes a virtual storybook that includes vignettes featuring the characters and color options for the company's ceramic, carpet and hardwood flooring. A dealer locator tool in also provided.
"We wanted to enhance the website so that consumers could easily find the information they wanted, and we wanted to give them more opportunities to see the imagination possible with today's Mohawk flooring choices," said Ed Williams, senior vp of marketing.
The navigation menu contains three main categories: "Planning and Decorating," "Shopping and Buying" and "Maintaining and Caring." Also available is a "DreamVision" tool, which allows consumers to click through Mohawk's product portfolio to see how a finished installation might look in a room.
