Members of the NFA and WFCA install Mirage hardwood on the second floor of the Compassion Center in Washington, D.C.

Hardwood floor manufacturer Boa-Franc Inc showed it has a soft heart by lending a helping hand to The Compassion Center. The nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Washington, D.C.-area children and adults cope with recent loss is in the midst of renovations. Its second floor has been redone with Mirage hardwood donated by Boa-Franc Inc., maker of the flooring. The company supplied 900 square feet of Red Oak flooring to the center. The National Flooring Association (NFA) and the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) also pitched in, donating time and labor to install the floor.

Pierre Thabet, president of Boa-Franc, said that Mirage was glad to offer its support. "We hope that the staff, volunteers and family members at the Center will benefit from our flooring for many years to come," he noted in a statement.
