Prefinished hardwood floor maker Mirage recently recognized three distributors with its annual Spirit of Mirage Awards. This award is given to distributors who have demonstrated "the most effective results in training, merchandising and sales growth," Mirage says.

The award for "Most Effective Results in Training" went to Golden State Flooring of California. The firm participated extensively in Mirage's plant tour program and held local training sessions for contractors, architects and designers.

"Most Effective Results in Merchandising" went to Hoboken, N.J.-based Hoboken Floors' Northeast Division. Hoboken extensively promoted the Mirage Maestro Mirage Dealer program by introducing the largest number of display units of any Mirage distributor, according to the company.

Superior Products of Maryland won a "Sales Growth" award. Superior Products launched an integrated Mirage promotions and sales effort, resulting in a big increase in growth - the largest of 2004, Mirage notes.
