During the meeting, Beaulieu executives including Carl Bouckaert, owner, and Ralph Boe, CEO, spoke to the assembled media about the history of Beaulieu of America. The company also discussed its latest launches, including the Flirtation residential carpet line new to the Bliss brand.

Werner Braun, president of the Carpet and Rug Institute, briefs the media on the work of CRI.

“It was an eye-opening experience for many of them," Flavin said. "They had no real idea about the variety and style of flooring" the company offers, she noted. Flavin added that Beaulieu plans to hold another press luncheon at next year's Surfaces show.
