Designer clothes won’t be the only show-stopper at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as the Mohawk Group carpets the runway with Amused and Enthralled, the first offerings in the Company’s new State of Mind collection. A presenting sponsor for designer Cesar Galindo, the Mohawk Group and its stylish flooring solution will set the stage for the unveil of the CZAR by Cesar Galindo Spring 2013 fashion line (The Studio, Columbus Ave. at 63rd St.) Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. (ET).

From muted brights to cool silvers, CZAR by Cesar Galindo’s “garden party” of soft, sophisticated dresses is centered around the beauty of color gradation – a trend Amused and Enthralled effortlessly capture. The State of Mind styles are designed to function in coordination, delivering a customizable progression of colorways and unique layering of delicate patterning. Combined, CZAR by Cesar Galindo and State of Mind are sure to turn heads, and inspire fashion and interior designers alike to experiment with the infinite possibilities of shifting color value.

“Like the fashion world, the Mohawk Group constantly seeks new ways to challenge flooring design convention with innovative, unique styles that reflect today’s social trends,” said Chris Stulpin, director of design and development, Mohawk Group. “We’re proud to partner with trendsetters like Cesar Galindo at Fashion Week to celebrate great design and the world that inspires it.”

Beyond the Mohawk Group’s runway debut, the industry trailblazer will also be sponsoring future-forward design events throughout Fashion Week (Sept. 6 – 13), including:

• Trend Union Seminar at the School of Visual Arts Beatrice Theatre (333
W. 23rd St.). On Thurs., Sept. 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., a tailored version of the 2013/14 Trend Union Global Fashion & Mindsets and the 2014 Interiors, Design and Lifestyle Presentations will be shared.
• CESAR GALINDO COLLECTION Spring 2013 Fashion Unveil at the Mohawk Group Showroom (71 W. 23rd St., 18th Fl.). On Thurs., Sept. 13 at
4 p.m., Galindo will present his bold new line that, similar to State of Mind, exudes definitive drama and color-gradation motifs to achieve an air of 1920’s deco.
