The National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD)+National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NBMDA) Annual Convention, taking place Nov. 3 through 5 at the Hilton Orlando in Orlando, Fla., is an opportunity to enhance business strategy with insights from recognized business experts, and learn about what others are doing to run their businesses effectively, according to show organizers.

Attendees can network and build connections at the show's exhibit hall. According to organizers, they will have the chance to meet with top decision makers, form operating and logistics plans and cover the critical factors that establish and strengthen partnerships. Exhibit hall hours are: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4 and 10:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

At the social media lounge, attendees will learn how to improve their social media presence to help both personally and professionally. Social media coaches will be available in the registration area to provide a complimentary LinkedIn profile refresh. Additionally, a photographer will be on-hand to take professional photos to update headshots. The social media lounge hours are: noon to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 and 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

The annual convention will provide numerous opportunities for attendees to network. At the NAFCD networking reception, taking place Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., attendees are invited to network with other NAFCD members. Taking place at the Sun Garden, located outdoors on the Promenade of Hilton Orlando Hotel, this will provide an ideal atmosphere to enjoy light snacks and drinks with fellow members and industry peers.

Play cornhole and bocce ball at the Backyard Bash closing reception and dinner or enjoy locally-inspired food stations and hand-crafted beverages, Thursday, Nov. 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This Floridian styled party will include music from a local acoustic duo, hand rolled cigars from cigar aficionados and Florida craft brews or brewtails.
