The Women of CCA met up in the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado, during the CCA Global summer convention. Made up of women from The CCA Global flooring retail groups—Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring Ameria, Flooring Canada, The Floor Trader, and the International Design Guild—the CCA women's group began last year as a way to bring women flooring leaders together for professional and personal networking. 

"Women are a strong part of the flooring industry, but they are sometimes unseen and unheard," said Nicole Harding, VP of CCA Global University. "We wanted to bring a group together where they could be themselves and talk about some of the challenges and the triumphs." 

Harding said 150 women are part of the group so far, and networking began with a headshot studio and a sip and paint event, "Ladies on the Lawn," followed by a lunch where members shared good news with one another.  

"We have all of ladies together for the first time, and we are going to have a blast," Harding said. "We've had a whole year of meeting virtually with different speakers, all about health and design and employee retention, but today is all about fun and connecting."
