QFloors Rolls Out New Lead Management Product

With QLeads, a new integration from QFloors, leads that come through your website or other lead generation platforms are automatically uploaded to your QFloors system. There’s no need to re-enter information, and no risk of accidentally keying in the wrong phone number or email address. QLeads ensures all leads make their way into your CRM, so that you and your team can focus on turning those leads into sales.

As more and more people turn to the internet as part of their shopping journey, it’s imperative for flooring retailers to nurture digital leads. In fact, a whopping 63 percent of shopping experiences start online. “You can’t just expect people to walk in your door anymore,” said Chad Ogden, president and CEO of QFloors. Retailers who put money and effort into digital marketing and website lead generation are on the road to success, but if they aren’t following up on leads that come through websites or online lead generation platforms, they’re only hurting themselves. “Keep track of the leads you’re getting through there and follow up with them,” Chad urged. “You need to protect your leads.”

Beseda Flooring in St. Charles, Missouri, has been a QFloors customer since 2004, and started using QLeads last year. “We love it,” said Patty Beseda, business development manager. Prior to using QLeads, Patty was the point person for keying leads into the store’s QFloors program—a tedious but crucial responsibility. “It saves me a lot of time, and it completely eliminates the possibility of human error,” she shared. “It’s wonderful.” There are still things to tidy up, such as eliminating leads that came in from out of state or assigning leads to different salespeople, but Patty appreciates that she no longer needs to key in every piece of information that comes through on their lead forms, like email addresses, phone numbers, and more.

QLeads also eliminates the potential for technical error. Sara Glance, office manager of Hughes Floor Covering in Charlotte, North Carolina, recalled one instance prior to using QLeads where leads that came through their website were landing in their spam folder and no one realized it. Because multiple people handled transferring leads from their email inbox to QFloors, “I assumed someone else was taking care of them, but they just weren’t being inputted,” Sara shared. She was curious why the store was seeing fewer leads than usual, and quickly discovered the lost emails. “I realized there were people who hadn’t been contacted for a week!” she said. With QLeads, your leads won’t fall victim to mercurial spam filters.

Sara said QLeads has helped Hughes Floor Covering store stay organized and track their advertising. It’s also helped them plan their ad spending for 2021. “This year, we can track where our leads are coming from, and see what’s working and what’s not.”

QLeads can also help retailers track product trends and performance. Retailers can see what products their potential new customers are most interested in, and can also monitor and compare close rates from different sources.

The helpful features don’t stop there. When a lead turns into a sale in a retailer’s QFloors system, it’s automatically updated in their QLeads system. Information about the customer, sale, materials, and ticket price is shared as well, giving retailers the ability to track effectiveness, trends, and success ratios. QLeads facilitates the easy flow of information between a retailer’s QFloors system and their website or other lead generation platform.

Chad is quick to stress that QLeads isn’t a magic bullet, and it’s certainly not a substitute for strong policies and procedures for following up on leads. “We’re trying to provide tools to help create better controls and better policies and procedures for taking care of leads. If you implement QLeads and don’t have some sort of method or policy or procedure for following up on leads, it’s going to do you no good,” he said. “It’s not going to fix a broken organization, but it’s a great step in the right direction—especially if you create policies for how to follow up with leads.”

While it’s not a magic bullet, adding QLeads to your system is simple, taking no more than a couple of hours to set up. QFloors customers also say it’s user-friendly. “Once it’s set up, there’s very little to learn. It’s a five-minute training process, and phenomenally easy,” Patty said. “I think it totally enhances our QFloors program.”

QLeads can be integrated with any website, including custom-built websites, and costs $25 per month. “It’s pretty simple, it doesn’t have to be that complex,” Chad said. “This is just another way we’re trying to make things work seamlessly for our customers and automate their businesses to a higher degree.”
