With sanitation stations at every turn, cleaning supplies in view and masked attendees, show floors are looking a little different these days. But what hasn’t changed about them is the innovation and robust product offerings they showcase, which continue to draw attendees like retailer Chris Kemp, even in the midst of a pandemic. In fact, for Mohawk’s Momentum Roadshow, Kemp, who is the owner of Kemp’s Dalton West Floor, brought 14 of his employees along with him to see the latest from the manufacturer.

“It’s really important to send more people than just myself or my store managers to this type of show because it brings them all together so that they can see the product live,” Kemp said. “I don’t have to go back and sell the product to them. I can find out here what they’re excited about, and guess what, what they’re excited about is what sells in my showroom.”
