Flooring is one of the main features that determine a home’s overall style. 

It seemed the height of ignorance that so many people expressed amazement of Meb Keflezighi’s age as he became the first American in 31 years to win the famous Boston Marathon earlier this year.

In an unprecedented move that will change the way everyone uses the Internet, the traditional .com domain names are being challenged by the introduction of more than a thousand new alternatives.

We’ve talked with lots of retailers over the years: Some who have taken over stores from their parents; some who bought a location from a previous owner; some who left one operation to open another; some were installers and wanted to get off their knees, and some others who were mill reps and got tired of moving around.

This issue marks my 20^th anniversary reporting on and covering this amazing industry. And while I’m not expecting to get flooded with gold watches, I did want to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people I’ve met since December 1993.
